FRAKES - Bell County Sheriff Bruce Bennett says deputies are looking into a fatal traffic accident that occurred Sunday night on Kentucky Highway 3485. Bennett says the accident occurred about 8:30 p.m. on the Hall Henderson Road at Frakes. He says Gary Wayne Partin, 38, of Frakes apparently lost control of a Suzuki Sport Utility vehicle and left the roadway and struck a tree.

Partin was pronounced dead at the scene by Bell County Coroner Clyde Creech. Toxicology tests are pending.

The accident is being investigated by Deputies Sean Pursifull and Miron Southerland. They were assisted at the scene by the Frakes Fire Department, Bell County EMS and the Bell County Rescue Squad.
