Born Dec. 20, 1929, at Laurel Hill in Bell County, she was the daughter of the late Hillary and Dona Slusher Jackson. She believed in the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by son, Terry Wade Henry; granddaughter, Terri Leigh Anne Henry; three sisters, Nancy Ellen Wilson, Mabel Hobbs, and Debbie Jane Jackson; and three brothers, Abraham Jackson, Hillary Jackson Jr., Hobart Jackson, and Henry Jackson.
Survivors include her children, Jackie (Michael) McGeorge, Pineville, Judy (Alan) Kidwell, Pineville, Bill Henry, Anderson, S.C., and George Henry, Middlesboro; sisters, Lillie Thompson, Middlesboro, and Irene Messer, Barbourville, Ky.; grandchildren, John A. McGeorge, Sherri Chappell, Terry Henry Jr., Brent Henry, Billy N. Henry, Tonya Sanders, Tanna Henry, Crystal Henry, Jessica Hix, and Laura Nicole Henry; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Baker and Troy Miracle presiding. Music will be by Hubert Baker and the Troy Miracle family.
Interment will be in the Jackson Cemetery on Laurel Hill. Pallbearers will be John McGeorge, John P. Chappell, Jason Sanders, Brent Henry, Terry Henry Jr., and Jeff Miracle.
The family will receive from 6-9 p.m. Monday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
