On Thursday, April 19, Jared Liles and Ryan Cloud of Claiborne High School, signed a commitment to play football at Maryville College. They were joined in the signing ceremony by family and school officials. Pictured are (front row. l. to r.) Brenda Cloud (Ryan's mom), Ryan Cloud; Jared Liles; and Tina Liles (Jared's mom). Both were selected as 2006 All-Region First Team. Maryville Head Football Coach Tony Ierulli projects Cloud as a defensive lineman and Liles as a "quaterback/athlete." Both are good football players and good athletes and will be tried at several positions when they arrive on campus, he said.
