In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandchildren, Channing Matthew Blevins, John Michael Jones, Jr., Victoria Blevins and Roland Blevins; son-in-law, James Roy Lowe and special grandmother, Judy Caldwell Saylor, brothers and sisters, Raymond Blevins, Edmond Sullivan, Berry Saylor, Tishie Burkheart and Renie Blevins.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Juanita Howard Blevins, his children and their spouses, Haze and Delores Blevins of Berea, Ky., Ronnie and Terry Blevins of Jenson, James and Sherry Blevins of Stoney Fork, Wanda and Jimmy Neal of Fayetteville, WV, Martine and Van Johnson of Straight Creek, Regina and Danny Middaugh of Jenson and Simon and Dorothy Brock of Pineville; seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Birchell Sullivan, Terrell Saylor and Della Mae James; a special niece and nephew, Charles “Wildman” Saylor and Deanna Howard and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Carl Jordon, the Rev. Russell Murphy, the Rev. Rick Johnson and the Rev. Don Messer. Music will be by Sandra Lee and Larry and Debbie Green. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens, Pineville. Pallbearers will be his grandsons and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the Calvary Chapel Pentecostal Church.
