Cordell Davis, 63, of Lafollette died as a result of injuries received in an accident on Sunday, Aug. 12.

According to Tazewell Police Officer Mark Lamb, Davis' motorcycle was stopped in the southbound right lane at U.S. 25E and Church Street. Raymond Clark, 65, of Michigan attempted to stop behind Davis but pushed the motorcycle through the intersection, coming to rest with the motorcycle under the Clark vehicle. Clark was driving a Class "C" RV and towing a trailer hauling a car.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol CIRT team worked on Monday to reconstruct the accident.
