Adult Education Program holds graduation ceremony

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College adult education program graduated 44 students who attained their GED in 2006-2007.

The graduation ceremony was held on Thursday evening, July 5 at 7 p.m. at the SKCTC-Middlesboro campus. Friends and family were in attendance to support and honor the seven individuals who participated iThe Master of Ceremony was Rev. Danny Robbins, retired adult education supervisor. Other honored guests in attendance were Judge Robert Costanzo, Bell County GED Administration, Denise Shumate, and a member of Bell County Council on Literacy board of directors, Thelma Pursifull.

The special speaker for the evening was Stephanie Oliver, past GED recipient and current SKCTC student.

Local graduates include La’letia Gregory, Jason Catron, Timmy Abner, Tamara Luttrell, Courtney Shacleford, Samantha Lankford, and Monica Gambrel.
