LONDON, Ky. — Lee “Pig” Warren Jr., 52, pleaded guilty on Sept. 10 before U.S. District Court Judge Danny C. Reeves to charges of conspiracy to commit money laundering and conspiracy to distribute marijuana and cocaine.

Warren Jr., a man reportedly from Flatlick, Ky., but with numerous Bell County ties, including a lengthy court record in the Bell County Court system, admitted in the course of his plea that he distributed at least 100 kilograms or more of marijuana and at least two kilograms of cocaine between Sept. 2003 and June 2007.

As part of the plea agreement, Warren Jr. forfeited over $92,000 in cash and four parcels of property to the United States which he admitted were purchased in part with funds that were obtained through the distribution of cocaine and marijuana.

Warren Jr. is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 10 at 10:00 a.m. He faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison, a maximum fine of $4 million and a minimum of eight years of supervised release.

This case stems from a June 7 arrest during a routine traffic stop. A canine search of Warren Jr.’s vehicle yielded approximately 20 pounds of marijuana, according to an affidavit and complaint filed by DEA Special Agent Michael V. Kersey and the U.S. Attorney’s office.

The case was a joint investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Internal Revenue Service, the Kentucky State Police and Operation UNITE. The United States was represented in the case by Assistant United States Attorney Gregory A. Ousley. Attorney Derrick Gordon of Lexington reportedly represented Warren Jr.
