He was born May 11, 1956, in Bell County, to the late Thurman Miracle and Elsie Miracle who survives. He was a coal miner and a member of the Mathel Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Miracle; sister, Faye Dean; father-in-law, Laymon Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years Norma Miracle, Middlesboro; mother Elsie Miracle of Miracle; children, Debbie Gambrel, Middlesboro, David Aldridge, Middlesboro, Darlene (John) Helton, Morristown, Tenn., Alva (Misty) Barnett, Scarbourough, W. Va., Josh Barnett, Scarbourough, W.Va.; six grandchidlren: special grandaughter, Alexis Helton, Lashay Helton, Jesse Barnett, Jessica Aldridge, Shane and Brittany Cobb; brothers, Donnie and Deranda Miracle of Miracle, Freddy and Sharon Miracle of Miracle, and Ricky and Rita Miracle of Middlesboro; sisters, Dorothy and Charles Griffith of Michigan, Jannette and Carl Littrell of Ewing, Va., and Charolette and Greg Buell of Harrogate, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the the Rev. David Rice and the Rev. Shawn Baker presiding. Music will be provided by the Ramsey Family.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Cubbage Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family of will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
