Joanne Hill, age 76, of New Tazewell, was born December 13, 1930 and passed away October 26, 2007 at the University Of Tennessee Hospital.

She was a member of Lone Holly Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She ran a flea market booth for many years. She was a very out going active member of the Senior Citizens. She retired from Tektronics in Oregon as quality control technician. She was the widow of Dewey C. Hill, Jr., since 1994; and also preceded in death by her parents: Theodore Chester Hundley and Thelma Gladys "Spike" Kindell Hundley; sisters: Phyllis Hundley and Mary Lou Olson

She is survived by her daughter: Dianna Hill of Tazewell; son: Alan Hill of California; grandchildren: Kendra Hill, Justin Hunt, Moriah Honchell; great grandchildren: Stephanie Dawn Jarrett, Tiffany Campbell and Genevia Leonard; sister: Sandra Evans of Oregon; brother: Jerry Hundley of Oregon; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 31 at 2 p.m. in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Baker officiating. Songs by Lone Holly Singers. Harpist will be Mrs. Gail Duncan. Burial in the Brewster Cemetery in New Tazewell.

Pallbearers: Randy Love, John England, Loye Meyers, James Love, Jeremy Whitaker, Bernard Coffey. Honorary Pallbearers: Barney Harlen, Rick Love, Brady Shelton, Anthony Cupp, Burgin Crutchfield, Bryan West.
