"We've got a great group of kids that decided they wanted to win, and they did, we've made a lot of changes and the players bought into the system and ran with it" said Head Coach Brad Burkhart.
In only his first year as Head Coach, the Livesay Panthers went from 2-5-1 season, to a T.M.S.A.A. East District Title, and were one win away from the East Tennessee Middle School State Championship game.
Burkhart was also awarded the T.M.S.A.A East District Coach of the Year.
"We had a bunch of great athletes that made us (coaches) all look good," he said.
