CHS cheerleaders capture national championship

The Claiborne High School Bulldog Cheerleaders captured another National Championship title at Jamfest Nationals, Dec. 2-3, 2007. They were proud and excited to win not only the Varsity Level 3 Division, but also, for the first time, Class Grand Champion defeating all teams up through level 3. The Bulldog Cheerleaders will be competing in two more national competitions in February and April. Squad members are required to attend practice year round with minimal absences to be competition ready as well as cheer all basketball games during season. They are coached by Lisa Cox. The 23 squad members are as follows: 1st row seated (l. to r.): LeAnn Massengill, Lindsey Cupp, Alyssa Poore, Amber Artman, Kristin Burton; 2nd row kneeling (l. to r.): Bethany McDaniel, Emily Blankenship, Kimberly Webb, Tiffany Dixon, Katie Hatfield, Amanda Cox, Tracena Noe, Alyshia Turner, Heather Bolden; 3rd row standing (l. to r.): Beth Collingsworth, Kelly Snodgrass, Kara Cook, Kasey Hurst, Courtney Harvey, Haley Henard, Jeanea Tucker, Michelle Curtis, and Brittany Morgan.
