MIDDLESBORO — Olive May Hunley, 96, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008, at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.

She was born May 1, 1911, in Sevier County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Jody and Martha Gibson Parton. She was a member of the Gap Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles W. Hunley and Fred Wilson; brothers, Tommy Parton, and Charlie Parton; and a granddaughter, Rhonda L. Wilson.

She is survived by the following members of her family: sons, Donald (Kathy) Wilson, Elizabethton, Tenn., Jerry L. (Louise) Hunley, Cumberland Gap, Tenn.; step-daughter:, Sandro (Charles) Fredericks, Princeton, Ind., brother-in-law, Clair (Flora) Hunley, Middlesboro; sisters-in-law, Selda Garrett, Knoxville, Tenn.and Emma Lee Hunley, Cumberland Gap, Tenn.; grandchildren, Donnelle Wilson, Doug Wilson, Rhonda Toomey, Barry Almond and Larry Almond; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bobby Bennett presding. Interment will follow immediately after the service.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Creech Funeral Home, Middlesboro, which is in charge of all arrangements.
