CORBIN — The Pineville Lady Mountain Lions saw their season come to an end Monday night with a 46-38 loss to host Lynn Camp in the 51st District semifinals.
Ashley McCreary scored 19 points to lead the Lady Wildcats and Chlesea Grubb hit two big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as Lynn Camp out-scored Pineville 21-14 to pull out the eight point win.
Pineville was led by senior forward Leslie Howard’s 16 points. Chelsey Smith added 12 and Chatman Taylor 10 for the Lady Lions.
Pineville finishes with a 9-18 record.
Lynn Camp improves to 15-11 and advances to Thursday’s championship game against Barbourville.
The Lady Tigers defeated Knox Central 57-51 in Monday’s other semifinal.
