The Trojans forced Harlan into 21 turnovers, including 16 in the first half, and rolled to a 69-44 win in the first round of the 52nd District Tournament at Cawood on Tuesday.
Adam Rhymer led Cawood with 27 points. T.J. Green added 14 and Dillon Cain 10. Harlan was led by Anthony Rhodes’ 11 points, Chad Creech finished with 10 and Jecorey Fields nine.
The Green Dragons end the season with a 6-22 record.
Cawood (11-18) advances to play Bell County in the semifinals Thursday at 7:45 p.m.
“We know we’ve got a tough road ahead,” Trojan coach Anthony Nolan said. “Bell will be a huge battle physically Thursday night. We’ll go back to the drawing board. The main thing is the physicality that they have.”
