Sue L. Kennedy, 44, of Middlesboro was found guilty, by a jury, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or other substance; first-degree possession of a controlled substance; and operating a motor vehicle without a license. The jury sentenced her to five years to prison on the first two counts and fined her $250 under the third count.
George Kelly Duncan, 34, of Williamsburg pleaded guilty to second degree burglary and was sentenced to prison for eight years. That sentence is to run consecutively with two other sentences.
Savannah Lewis, 23, Pewee Valley, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300. Lewis was sentenced to serve one year in prison and that sentence will run consecutively with two other Bell County indictments.
Tony Akers, 48, of Middlesboro pleaded guilty to tampering with a prisoner monitoring device and has been sentenced to two years in prison which is to run consecutively with other sentences handed down in Bell, Harlan and Shelby counties.
Darlene Tucker, 33, of Middlesboro pleaded guilty to third degree burglary. Tucker was sentenced to five years in prison and is to serve six month in the Bell County Jail and be placed on probation for five years. She was also ordered to pay Elmer Thompson $526 restitution.
April Michelle Jones a/k/a Bailey, 34, of Pineville pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300. She was sentenced to five years in prison. That sentence is to run consecutively with three others.
Freddy A. Fuson, 35, of Ingram pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300. Fuson was sentenced to one year in prison. That sentence is to run consecutively with a two year sentence for flagrant non-support. Fuson was also ordered to pay restitution of $7,702.02 in child support and is to serve time for another charge.
Rebecca G. Turner, 33, of Pineville pleaded guilty to three counts of second degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She was sentenced to two years in prison. That sentence will run consecutively with other sentences.
Edward Raney, Jr., 27, of Middlesboro pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He was sentenced to serve ten years in prison and that sentence is to run concurrently with another Bell County conviction.
Rickey Ray Nelson, 55, Middlesboro pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; two counts of third degree possession of controlled substance; possession of a radio that sends/receives police messages; second degree trafficking in a controlled substance; third degree trafficking in a controlled substance; second offense of trafficking in marijuana, less than eight ounces; second offense of possession of drug paraphernalia; and being a second degree persistent felony offender. Nelson has been sentenced to serve three years in prison under counts I, III, V, Vii, and VIII of the indictment; five years in prison under count IX of the indictment; 12 months in the Bell County Jail under counts IV of the indictment. The sentences are to run concurrently. Nelson will then be placed on unsupervised probation for a period of five years under Counts I-III, V, and VII-IX of the indictment.
Flora Smith, 29, of Harlan pleaded guilty to second degree complicity to commit criminal possession of a forged instrument. She has been sentenced to serve 90 days in the Bell County Jail and will be placed on supervised probation for five years.
Mark Anthony Hill, 48 of Middlesboro has pled guilty to second degree assault. Hill has been sentenced to five years in prison.
