PINEVILLE — The Pineville Lady Mountains improved to 3-1 on the season as they routed Evarts 14-1 in five innings Thursday.
Chatman Taylor got the win and also drove in two runs with a triple and a single for the Lady Lions.
Pineville scored three times in the first inning, once in the second, six in the third and four in the fourth. Every player in the starting lineup reached base and scored at least one run.
Whitney Partin also had two hits for Pineville and scored three runs.
Casey Rorick and Blair Combs had the other hits for the Lady Lions.
Pineville is scheduled to visit Knox Central today at 4 p.m. and will host Middlesboro Monday inthe opening round of the 13th Region All “A” Classic.
