Home Federal Bank’s Relay for Life team is hosting “A Taste for a Cure” with Celebrity Chefs, an event featuring homemade specialities of local “celebrities”. For $10 per person, you sample each and every dish prepared by the 40 local residents who will be taking part in “A Taste for a Cure”.

Included among the celebrity chefs is cancer survivor Jane Melton, who is pictured at right with her business partner on the set of a cooking show they hosted which aired Pennsylvania public televison.

“A Taste for a Cure” will be held at Middlesboro High School’s cafeteria on Thursday, May 8, from 6-7:30 p.m.

A variety of appetizers, soups and salads, main dishes, vegetables, and desserts — lots of dishes from Hungarian Mushroom Soup to Soup Beans.

All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society through the Bell County Relay for Life, which will be held on June 6-7.
