Sentences handed down for theft, drugs in Bell Circuit Court

PINEVILLE -- A number out-of-county people sentenced to prison for crimes committed in Bell County through the Bell County Circuit Court.

Those receiving sentences are:

  • Bradley Manners Fields, 27, Cumberland, sentenced to five years in prison for second degree robbery; theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $300; fourth degree assault and 12 months in the Bell County Jail for theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $300; fourth degree assault and resisting arrest. The sentences are to run concurrently with each other.

  • John W. Bustle, 25, Harlan, pleaded guilty to second degree criminal possession a forged instrument and second degree persistent felony offender. Bustle is to serve five years in prison, however, the sentence is to run concurrently with each other, but that such sentences shall fun consecutively with those imposed in Harlan Indictment 04-CR-00095, 04-CR-00027-001. 03-CR-00086 and 98-CR-00047 and Clay County Indictment 03-CR-00124-003. Bustle is to pay $950 to Long’s Pic-Pac.

  • Crystal Lynn William a/k/a Sturgill, 26, Pineville, pleaded guilty to second degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She is to serve two years and six months in prison.

  • Tammy R. Schlegel, 29, Middlesboro, pleaded guilty to welfare fraud, false statement or misrepresentation to receive benefits over $100. She is to serve five years in prison; the sentence was probated and she was placed on supervised probation for five years. She is to also pay restitution $2,916.03 to the Kentucky State Treasury, Division Family Support.

  • Nola Roberta Day, 43, Cumberland, pleaded guilty to theft identity of another without consent. She is to serve one year in prison and that sentence is to run consecutively with Bell Indictment 04-CR-00030.

  • Bruce S. Smith, 24, Pineville, pleaded guilty to second degree trafficking in a controlled substance and trafficking in a controlled substance in or near a school. He is to serve two years and six months in prison.

  • Dallas L. Lewis, 23, Flat Lick, pleaded guilty to three counts theft by deception over $300 and sentence to five years. He is to serve 12 for theft by deception under $300. Lewis was placed on supervised probation for five years and is to repay First State Financial in the amount $2,250.

  • Kevin Lynn Miracle, 30, Pineville pleaded guilty to second degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
