Bell Grand Jury continues to hand down indictments

PINEVILLE -- A number of people have been indicted by the Bell County Grand Jury for misdemeanors and felonies and will make an appearance before a circuit court jury in the near future.

Alyssa Camille Hensley, 19, of Middlesboro was indicted for theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300, when she allegedly unlawfully took a wallet out of Robert E. Shackleford’s hand containing $585 in cash, without permission.

Jerry W. Barton, 63, of Middlesboro was indicted for incest when he allegedly had deviate sexual intercourse with a person who was less than 18 years of age.

Kenneth E. Saylor, 40, of Coldiron, Ky., was indicted for second degree robbery when allegedly threatening to use physical force upon Bobby Johnson, while committing a theft.

Michael Lee Baird, 34, of Middlesboro was indicted for alleged complicity to commit burglary in the second degree by aiding Cody Joseph Ray Meyers a.k.a. Pena, in committing the offense of second degree burglary.

Linda Mays, 47, of Middlesboro was indicted for first degree possession of a controlled substance by allegedly knowingly and unlawfully possessing Cocaine.

Brandon L. Sturgill, 22, of Manchester, was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance (Cocaine), in the first degree.

Amanda Hall a.k.a. Smith, 26, of Middlesboro was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance, Oxycodone, in the first degree.

Joshua Lee Miracle, 22, of Middlesboro, was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), in the second degree.

Curtis W. Hoskins, 44, of Middlesboro, was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), in the second degree.

Elijah Kade Morrison, 27, of Lebanon was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance (Morphine), in the first degree.

Robert Nicholas Reynolds, 20, of Harrogate, was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance (Oxycodone), in the first degree and also for trafficking in a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), in the second degree.

Hope Marie Hatfield, 20, of Middlesboro was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance (Cocaine), in the first degree.

Lee Roy Harris, 21, of Manchester, Ky., was indicted for allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance in or near a school by selling Marijuana, a controlled substance, to a Middlesboro Police Department confidential informant, within 1,000 yards of St. Julian’s School in Middlesboro, and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Willie Wayne Duffield, 30, of Middlesboro was indicted for allegedly twice, trafficking in a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), in the second degree.

Curtis L. Jones, 22, of Sandy Hook was indicted for allegedly promoting contraband (Cocaine), in the first degree into the Bell County Detention Center and at the same time committed the offense of being a second degree persistent felony offender.

Those indicted are presumed innocent unless convicted in a court of law.
