Bell County Fair takes visitors to new heights

FOURMILE -- The tenth annual Bell County Fair at Fourmile is well underway. Tonight there will be a Demolition Derby, along with the carnival, as well as camel rides, the Elephant Encounter, a petting zoo, pig racing, and plenty of stage entertainment each night. Admission is $3 per person.

Thursday night is the Hook-em, Tug’em, Pull’em. Sign ups are at 5:30 p.m. and the competition starts at 7 p.m. Classes are open and anything goes, including lawn mowers, tractors, pick-up trucks including two-wheel, four-wheel and diesels along with ATV’s and UTV’s or anything that you want to compete in. Entry fees are $10 and there will be an 80 percent play back in each category.

Friday and Saturday, there will be a rodeo. Also, there is a car and bike show. The entry fee is $10 for each entry and starts at 10 a.m. and judging begins at 1 p.m. and awards will be presented at 2 p.m. Prizes ranges from $25 to $50 for the top four winners in their category.

Bring the whole family for entertainment they will enjoy.
