Henry Shawn Gibson, 35, of Manchester, has been found guilty of flagrant non-support and sentenced to five years in prison and that sentence is to run concurrently with the sentence imposed in Bell Indictment 07-CR-00342 which was two charges of flagrant non-support. He is to serve five years in prison on both counts and to pay restitution of $16,420.49 to the victim Valeri Cooper of Stoney Fork.
Dawn S. Ward, 48, of Arjay, has been found guilty of trafficking in a controlled substance, Oxycodone, a Schedule II Narcotic. She has been sentenced to five years in prison, however, the sentence was probated that she is to be placed on supervised probation for a five years.
Charlie P. Dozier, 32, of Harlan has been sentenced to prison for five years for receiving stolen property over $300. He stole five transformers from Saylor’s Electric and will have to pay $126,000, in restitution. He also was sentenced to 10 years in prison for being a first degree persistent felony offender.
Brandon Sturgill, 22, of Middlesboro has been sentenced to prison for seven years for beating Marvin Aldridge in the face and head and hitting him over the head with a beer bottle and five years for damaging a vehicle belonging to Aldridge causing damages in excess of $1,000 and ordered to pay restitution of $2,308.56 and the sentences are to run concurrently.
Shawn David Wyrick, 37, of Middlesboro has been sentenced to prison for trafficking in Marijuana within 1,000 yards of Southeast Community College. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
Tyler R. Brown, 20, of Middlesboro has been sentenced five years in prison for trafficking in a controlled substance, Cocaine, in the first degree.
John B. Cawood, Sr., 55, has been sentenced to prison for unlawfully trafficking in Hydrocodone, a Schedule III controlled substance. He is to serve three years in prison.
Derrick J. Snellings, 39, of Hulen, has been sentenced to prison for two counts of unlawfully trafficking in Oxycodone, a Schedule II, narcotic. He is to serve seven years in prison. On another indictment he was sentenced for trafficking in Marijuana, more than eight ounces but less than five pound. He was sentenced to two years and six months in prison, both sentences are to run consecutively.
David Partin, 36, of Pineville, has been sentenced to prison for third degree burglary by unlawfully entering the Vendor’s Mall belonging to Patrick Howard. He was sentence to serve three years and six months in prison and that sentence is to run consecutively with the sentence imposed in Bell Indictment 03-CR-00226.
