Mr. and Mrs. Gary L. Baker, Middlesboro, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Elizabeth to Leslie Scott Goodin Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Scott Goodin Sr. of Clear Creek.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Mills Sr. of Arjay, and Mr. and Mrs. John E. Baker of Pineville.

She is a 2003 graduate of Bell County High School and a 2007 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in middle grades education. She is employed by the Bell County Board of Education.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Raymond Goodin Jr. of Pineville, Charles Christian Sr. of Sugar Valley, Ga., and the late Huldah Webb Cunningham.

Also a 2003 graduate of Bell County High School, he is currently enrolled at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College pursuing an associate in arts degree. He is employed by G+G Masonry.

The wedding is planned for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Binghamtown Baptist Church in Middlesboro. A reception will follow after the ceremony. Formal invitations have been sent.
