Roger Curtis Reeves, 25, of Middlesboro, was sentenced for first degree bail jumping and second degree persistent felony offender. Reeves elected to have a jury trial and the jury found him guilty of both counts and fixed his sentencing of one year in prison for bail jumping and five years for being a second degree persistent felony offender. The sentence is to run consecutively with Bell Indictments 01-CR-00234, 02-CR-00018 and 02-CR-00036. He received credit for 248 days served in jail.
Shawn C. Gibson, 22, of Middlesboro, has been sentenced for second degree burglary; receiving stolen property under $300 and second degree unlawful transaction with a minor. Gibson has been sentenced to five years in prison for second degree burglary and second degree unlawful transaction with a minor, and 12 months in the Bell County Detention Center and the sentences are to run concurrently with each other. He was given 89 days served, in jail.
Charles Pete Templeton, 38, of Pineville has been sentenced to three years in prison for eight counts of first degree wanton endangerment and that sentence is to run consecutively with the sentence imposed in Bell Indictment 06-CR-00117.
Tommy Asher, 34, of Ingram, has been sentenced for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence; third degree escape and first degree fleeing or evading police. He has been sentenced to five years for fleeing or evading police in the first degree along with 90 days in the Bell County Detention Center for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and third degree escape and those sentences are to run consecutively with Whitley Indictment 99-CR-00105. He received credit for 96 days already served.
George Allen Pumphery, 48, of Middlesboro has been sentence to jail for second degree possession of a controlled substance. He is to serve 90 days in the Bell County Detention Center and then be placed on 24 months supervised probation.
Kristy Lynn Eply, 30, of Pineville has pleaded guilty to first degree trafficking in a controlled substance. Eply has been sentenced to five years in prison.
Jason Michael Crase, 32, of Linefork, Kentucky plead guilty to public intoxication and manufacturing methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine and 90 days in the Bell County Detention Center for public intoxication. The sentences shall run concurrently with each other. He received credit for 105 days served.
Brandy Moyers, 25, of Middlesboro has pled guilty to first degree trafficking in cocaine, a controlled substance and has been sentenced to prison for five years.
Roy Darrell Sander, III, 32, of Arjay has pled guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $300. He took a purse out of a vehicle belonging to Mary L. Helton containing approximately $400 cash, an ATM card, keys and other miscellaneous items valued at more than $300. His five year sentence was probated for five years. He was placed on supervised probation for five years and is to repay Helton $460.
Harold Brooks, III, 23, of Middlesboro has pled guilty to two counts of first degree trafficking, in cocaine, a controlled substance. He is to serve seven years in prison.
Julie L. Weedman, 37, of Evarts has pled guilty to 39 counts of diversion of charitable game funds for financial benefit over $300; along with 47 counts of second degree forgery; and 10 counts of diversion of charitable game funds for financial benefit under $300. She was placed on five years probation for 39 counts of diversion of charitable funds for financial benefit and is to repay the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #11139 restitution in the amount of $48,783.14 to be paid in the amount of $813.19 for the next 59 months.
