PINEVILLE— It’s Bell High vs. Rockcastle in an all out toilet paper war!
September 2-19 the student government at Bell County High School is participating in a community service project by collecting toilet paper. That’s right, toilet paper!
The project is a competition against Rockcastle called the “Wipe Out Drugs” challenge. The school that collects the most toilet paper will receive a trophy which will be displayed at their school for one year. The trophy will be awarded during the Bell County vs Rockcastle game on September 19.
The BCHS class that collects the most will be awarded an extended break and tickets to the Madison Southern game on October 10. Freshman students can take their donations to Mrs. Cornett and Mrs. Willis; sophomores to Mrs. Lefevers and Mrs. Swisher; juniors to Mrs. Cox and Miss Morgan; and seniors to Mrs. Debrot and Mrs. Hensley.
Where will all of this toilet paper go? It will be donated to men’s and women’s drug treatment centers such as Chad’s Hope, West Care, Healing Rain and Hope in the Mountains.
The community can get in on the fun and contribute to this worthy cause by bringing toilet paper donations to the Bell County’s Friday, Sept., 5 game against Whitley County.
