Circuit court hands down several sentences

PINEVILLE — Bell County Circuit Court handed down several sentences recently. They are as follows:

Michael Jonathan Fleet, 20, of Middlesboro has been sentenced to first degree criminal mischief; theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $300. He has been sentenced to two years in prison for first degree criminal mischief and 12 months in the Bell County Jail for theft by unlawful taking or disposition under $300. The defendant is ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,267.25 to the victim, Curtis “Buddy” Yeary. Fleet’s sentence will run consecutively with a separate sentence of three years in prison for third degree burglary.

Jerry Allen Mullins, 31, of Middlesboro pled guilty in court to first degree criminal trespassing and is sentenced to 12 months in the Bell County Jail. The defendant actually served that amount of time already, the balance of such sentence will be probated and he will be placed on supervised probation for 24 months. He is also ordered to pay restitution of $1,060.58 to the victim, John Szemak.

Terron L. Wilson, 29, of Lexington, Kentucky appeared in court and entered a guilty plea to the charge of possession of a controlled substance, in the first degree. He was sentenced to two years in prison and the sentence is to run consecutively with the Bell County Indictment 08-CR-00181. He separately pled guilty to two counts of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance and is sentenced to seven years in prison.

Angie Buchanan, 40, of Middlesboro entered a plea of guilty to first degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She was sentenced to five years in prison under count I and one year in prison for court II, and the sentences are to run consecutively.

Robert L. Hardin, 39, of Mt. Vernon has entered a plea of guilty to second degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He is sentenced to serve three years in prison and that sentence is to run consecutively with the sentence imposed in Bell Indictment 05-CR-00200.

Jimmy Lee Hamblin, 31, of Middlesboro has plead guilty to first degree trafficking, two counts. He is sentenced to seven years in prison.

Lee Roy Duffield, 59, of Middlesboro entered a plea of guilty to the charge of trafficking in a controlled substance in the second degree. He is sentenced to two years in prison.

David Hensley, 34, of Pineville has entered a plea of guilty to second degree trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender. Hensley has been sentenced to five years in prison being an enhancement to the sentence imposed under count I of the indictment and the sentences are to run consecutively with a sentence imposed in Bell Indictment 02-CR-00033.

Arthur Seabolt, 64, of Pineville entered a guilty plea on two counts of second degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He is sentenced to five years in prison under count II of the indictment and two years in prison under Count I and the sentences are to run consecutively.
