She was born in Bell County, on January 29, 1931, to the late Mary Fuson and John L. Fletcher. She was a member of the Church of Chenoa.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Partin; and daughter Karen Partin.
Survivors include her daughter Phyllis (Claude) Knuckles, Frakes; son, Allen (Linda) Partin, Frakes; grandsons, Jason (Tasha) Knuckles, Frakes, and Eric (Amanda) Partin, Frakes; granddaughters, Brittany and Bethany Partin, Frakes, and Tamara Partin (daughter of the late Karen Partin), Franklin, Ohio; great-granddaughters, Amberlin Knuckles, Frakes; step-son, Wayne Partin, Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Cassie Sams, Louisville, Ky., Ann Turner, Louisville, Ky., and Clarice (Dick) Day, Kadiz, Ky.; two brothers, James (Martha) Fletcher, Tazewell, Tenn., and L.B. (Mattie) Fletcher, Beloit, Ohio; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Hope United Methodist Church in Frakes, with the Rev. Ronnie Sizemore, the Rev. Mike Tupper and Curt Knuckles presiding. Music will be provided by Homer and Frances Cobb.
Interment will follow in the John A. Partin Cemetery in Frakes. Pallbearers will be Bill Partin, Bradley Partin, Clifford Maiden, Jesse Partin, Wayne Partin and Kenton Partin. Honorary pallbearers will be Marie Hortillosa, Efren Valecica, Dr. Devore, Middlesboro ARH first floor staff, Hospice of the Bluegrass, Staff of the Baker Cancer Center, and special friend Frances Cobb.
The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday at Hope United Methodist Church in Frakes.
