Twas two weeks before Christmas... And the students at Ellen Myers School had the opportunity to finish their Christmas shopping early! Members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and other school officials organized the annual “Santa’s Workshop” event at the school on Wednesday. Santa’s Workshop is an affordable collection of Christmas gifts available for students, their families and friends. After a sale is finalized, members of the PTA gift wrap the items and children take them home to nestle them under the tree.
