She was born February 1, 1949 in Middlesboro, the daughter of the late Charlie and Hazel Williams.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Judy Williams Finger, one brother, Hodge Williams and sons: Danny Ray Brown Sr., Terry Lee Brown and nephew, Danny Jerry Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Jackie Ray Brown; children: Tammy (Kenny) Sharp, David (Sonya) Brown, Donna (Benny) Rowland, Tiffany Carolyn Smith; daughter-in-law, Mary Brown Pittman; son-in-law, Herbert Fleet Jr.; grandchildren: Brad Fleet, Jennifer Raney, Jessica Brown, Danny Brown Jr., Kala McIntosh, Michael Fleet, Ashley (Rocky) Howerton, Stevie Brown, Brittany (Justin) Proffitt, Jonathan Rowland, Traci Harris, Matthew Fultz, Whitney Caldwell, Kaitlyn Sharp, Jason Sharp; great-grandchildren: Leah, Hannah, Dalton, and Kaitlyn Fleet, Brayden Fultz, Eden Brown, Blake and Devon Gibson, and Riley Proffitt, and two brothers; James Williams and Donnie (Rita) Williams.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 16, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Hensley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Yeary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ray Short, Danny Brown, Jonathan Rowland, Ben Rowland, Brad Fleet, Taylor Hardin, and John Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be great nephews: Chris and Darryl Smith and great niece, Brandi Smith.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, June 16, at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
