JOSHUA D. BAIRD, 27, of Pineville was indicted for assault in the first degree and persistent felony offender in the second degree when he manifested extreme indifference to the value of human life by wantonly engaging in conduct which created a grave risk of death to Charles A. Sproles by stabbing him with a kitchen knife in the left ear, thereby causing Mr. Sproles serious physical injury;
JASON GRANT, 33, of Middlesboro was indicted for receiving stolen property (over $500) when he received, retained or disposed of items valued at more than $500 which had been stolen from the residence of Jason Hunley, knowing that the items had been stolen;
JACOB K. SLUSHER, 20, of Pineville was indicted for assault in the third degree and resisting arrest;
MISTY GWYNN, 34, of Middlesboro was indicted for promoting contraband in the first degree when she introduced Diazepam and Hydrocodone, controlled substances, into the Bell County Jail;
GARY OVERTON, 36, of Middlesboro was indicted for theft by unlawful taking or disposition (over $500) when he unlawfully took a furnace from a mobile home belonging to Tammy Howard valued at more than $500 without her permission;
EDWARD ANDREW WALLACE, 22, of Harrogate, Tenn., was indicted for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, first offense; possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle and escape in the second degree;
AMANDA E. ELLIS, 21, of Harrogate, Tenn., was indicted for possession of controlled substance in the first degree, first offense; endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense;
JULY SMITH, 22, of Speedwell, Tenn., was indicted for possession of controlled substance in the first degree, first offense; endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia, first offense;
FRANKLIN WADE CARTER, 32, of Pineville was indicted for assault in the second degree; kidnapping; carrying a concealed deadly weapon and resisting arrest when he intentionally hit Cathy Carter in the head with a gun and restrained her with the intent to terrorize her by forcing her out of her apartment at gun point;
DONNIE SMITH, 34, of Middlesboro was indicted for criminal possession of forged instrument in the second degree;
ASHLEY L. DAVIS, 24, of Tazewell, Tenn., was indicted for theft of identity of another without consent when she knowingly used the name and date of birth of her sister, Belinda Ann Parker without her consent to avoid detection;
JAMES HENDRICKSON, 29, of Middlesboro was indicted for theft by unlawful taking or disposition (over $300) and persistent felony offender in the second degree when he unlawfully took a case containing 23 Case knives, a case of Zippo lighters and a case of 30 Case knives all from Bill's Market with the intent to deprive them;
JOHN D. RUTHERFORD, 52, of Hamilton, Oh., was indicted for failure to wear seat belts; failure to or improper signal; no/expired registration plate; no/expired registration receipts; no operators/moped license; failure to produce insurance card; reckless driving; improper start from parked position; operating vehicle with expired operators license; failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, first offense; fleeing or evading police in the first degree; wanton endangerment in the first degree; resisting arrest; menacing; disorderly conduct, second degree; operating motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, second offense and persistent felony offender in the second degree;
BRIAN LANGFORD, 44, of Middlesboro was indicted for public intoxication, first offense; possession of controlled substance in the first degree, first offense and possession of controlled substance in the third degree, first offense;
TAMMY SUE CARROLL, 47, of Middlesboro was indicted for robbery in the first degree when she used physical force while armed with a ball bat in the course of committing the theft of medication belonging to Sheila Swain;
JENNIFER LYNN GORDON, 35, of Middlesboro was indicted for criminal possession of forged instrument in the first degree and persistent felony offender in the first degree;
JASON L. SCHOOLER, 35, of Pineville was indicted for receiving stolen property (over $500) and persistent felony offender in the second degree by receiving, retaining or disposing of jewelry stolen from Annie Morrison valued at more than $500 and pawning said jewelry at East End Pawn Shop, knowing said jewelry had been stolen;
JENNIFER L. LYDIC, 35, of Middlesboro was indicted for complicity to commit burglary in the second degree and theft by deception (under $500) by aiding, counseling or attempting to aid another person to committing the offense of burglary by unlawfully entering the dwelling of Annie Morrison with the intent to commit a crime and unlawfully selling property to East End Pawn Shop which had been reported stolen by Annie Morrison and creating a false impression that she was entitled to said money with the intent to deprive Annie Morrison and/or East End Pawn Shop;
VIRGIL D. DURHAM, 32, of Arjay was indicted for speeding, 16 MPH over limit; fleeing or evading police in the first degree; no motorcycle operators license; reckless driving and persistent felony offender in the first degree;
TRAVIS P. RUTHERFORD, 25, of Calvin was indicted for receiving stolen property (over $500) when he received, retained or disposed of radiators, No. 2 copper, long iron and short iron valued at more than $500 which had been stolen from Steve Widner and sold said items at Robbins Recycling for $67.45;
TERRY TAYLOR, 26, of Pineville was indicted for receiving stolen property (over $500) when he received, retained or disposed of radiators, No. 2 copper, long iron and short iron valued at more than $500 which had been stolen from Steve Widner and sold said items at Robbins Recycling for $67.45;
JAMES TYLER CORNISH, 20, of Middlesboro was indicted for receiving stolen property (firearms) that had been stolen from David Noah;
STEPHANIE L. CUPP, 19, of Middlesboro was indicted for receiving stolen property (firearms) that had been stolen from David Noah and receiving stolen property (under $500) of a purse and contents that belonged to Tammy Noah;
GARY WAYNE OVERTON, 36, of Middlesboro was indicted for operating ATV on roadway; operating ATV without headgear; driving on DUI suspended license, first offense; operating motor vehicle while under the influence, third offense; second degree trafficking in controlled substance, first offense; possession of controlled substance in the third degree, first offense and controlled substance prescription not in original container, first offense;
LINDA LOU SMITH, 45, of Barbourville was indicted for utter false/forged prescription, first offense and theft of identity of another without consent when she attempted to obtain controlled substances by unlawfully representing herself to be Robin McWhorter, who is deceased, and calling in a prescription for Clonazepam and Hydrocodone to Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy and using Robin McWhorter's hospital badge for the purpose of avoiding detection;
CHRISTOPHER LEE SMITH, 29, of Pineville was indicted for utter false/forged prescription, first offense and theft of identity of another without consent when he attempted to obtain controlled substances by unlawfully representing himself to be Robin McWhorter, who is deceased, and calling in a prescription for Clonazepam and Hydrocodone to Medicine Cabinet Pharmacy and using Robin McWhorter's hospital badge for the purpose of avoiding detection;
JAMIE RAY WILDER, 31, of Manchester was indicted for theft by unlawful taking or disposition (over $500); criminal trespass in the third degree and persistent felony offender in the second degree when he took merchandise from Belk's with a value over $500 with their permission with intent to deprive Belk's;
JOSHUA TED SMITH, 29, of Sharps Chapel, Tenn., was indicted for possession of controlled substance in the first degree, first offense;
FLOYD RAY BRANSON, 34, of Middlesboro was indicted for public intoxication; possession of controlled substance in the first degree, first offense; possession of controlled substance in the third degree, first offense; controlled substance prescription not in original container, first offense and persistent felony offender in the first degree.
