Downtown business survives recent flood

Shades Cafe re-opened last week after closing for flood repairs. The crew was happy to get the store reopened. The staff helped during the remodeling of the store, doing much of the work themselves.

Since re-opening, the store has been extremely busy, even breaking record attendance in the days following the re-opening of the store.

Shades Cafe is located on 2119 Cumberland Avenue in downtown Middlesboro. The store is open Monday and Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
