TAZEWELL/HARROGATE, Tenn. — Ethel Patricia “Trish” Hunley, 22, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009, at her home.

A member of Town Creek Church, she loved life, people, and enjoyed making people happy and to laugh.

Preceding her in death were: brothers, Keith Hunley and Kevin Daniels; nephew, Elijah Jordon Quinn.

Survivors include her father, Wayne Hunley, Speedwell; mother, Patricia Anita Massengill Hunley, Tazewell; son, Christopher Wyatt Hunley Smith, Speedwell; brothers, Arnie Hunley, Speedwell, and Joshua Hunley, Tazewell; sisters, Leighya Quinn, Johnson City, Trina Hunley, Speedwell, and Stephanie Hunley, Tazewell; grandparents, Arnold and Ethel Hunley, Speedwell, Tenn., and Edgar and Pauline Massengill, Tazewell, Tenn.; special friends, Rhonda Scott, Ashley Dummit, C.C. Hospice, Emmaline’s, Amedisys, U.T. Cancer Institute, and numerous other friends at Oasis and elsewhere.

She was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 15, at Reece Valley Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Day and the Rev. Carl Massengill officiating. Music was by Glory Bound, Ann Smith and Kathy Inman.

Burial was in the Town Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers were:, Zachary Thompson, James Corneluis, Michael Barnes, Kris Johnson, Kipper House, Eli Rasmussen, Rhonda Scott, Ashley Dummitt, Brian Hunley, John Hunley, Wade Hunley, James Hunley, Douglas Steele, Johnny Hunley and Roger Ball.

Visitation was from6-9 Wednesday, January 14, at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel.
