STONEY FORK — Kenneth Brock, 53 of Stoney Fork, passed away May 2, 2012 at Pineville Community Hospital.

He was born August 19, 1958, to ZB and Nellie Cox Brock who survives. He worked as a coalminer for Bell County Coal, and also in security.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Felix and Judy Caldwell Brock, and Jesse and Goldie Helton Cox; three nephews, Robert Saylor, John Brock, and Freddrick Brock; one niece, Tina Brock; sister-in-law; Faitha Jean Brock; and brothers-in-law, Johnny Murray and Earl Dean Helton.

He is survived by his loving and precious wife of 26 years, Sharla (Helton) Brock of Stoney Fork with whom he has two children, Whitney Janelle Brock and Brandon Collett of Pineville, and Kenneth Justin (Buster) Brock of Stoney Fork; two additional children, Jason Lee Brock of Cincinnatti, Ohio, and Kenneth John Brock and wife Alisha of Nicholas County, Ky. and their mother, Sandy Roudemiller; four grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Braiden John Brock, Aubree Makenna Collett, Gracelyn Neaveh Brock and Oliva Brock; brothers, Burley Brock (Delene), Sol Brock (Somer Helton), ZB Brock, Jr. (Margie Helton), Randy Brock, Elmer Brock and Fred Brock (Rosie); sisters, Delores Saylor (Jordan), Willene Murray, Judy Lewis (Jerry), Chesney Mills (Dwayne), Belva Scruggs (David), Goldie Saylor (Darrell); brothers and sisters-in-law; Betty Mae and Roger Morgan, Jackie and Estill Morgan, Charlene and Dale Wilson, Sharon Helton, Rodney Darrell and Barb Helton; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Richard Asher, the Rev. Demus Couch and the Rev. Jordan Saylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery at Stoney Fork, with brothers-in-law and nephews serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6- 9 p.m. Thursday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, after 9 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday until funeral hour on Saturday at the Jenson Pentecostal Church.
