PINEVILLE — J.L. Bargo, 69 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Stinking Creek, Ky., on April 17, 1943, a son of the late Jim Leonard and Dorthea Williams Bargo. He believed in the Baptist faith and had been a truck driver for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ingram Bargo; children, Melissa and Billy Jackson, Bridgett and Mike Allen and Kristy and Rodney Patterson; grandchildren, Candice Asher, Elizabeth Jackson, Brad All, Markus Allen, Teneisha Patterson and Brady Patterson; and a host of the relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Brooks presiding.

Burial will be in the Campbell Cemetery at Barbourville, Ky. Pallbearers will be Ed Goodin, Bobby Bargo, Billy T. Bailey, J.W. Daniels, Gene Turpin and Harvey Frazier. Honorary pallbearer will be Terry Browning.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Bargo Family. Light a virtual candle or sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
