Bell County Rescue Squad member Mike Ausmus reported that the crews are following up on the lead, search dogs picked up on the scent, giving crews a better idea of Heck’s possible location.

Ausmus reported that helicopters scoured the area yesterday morning.

Emergency crews have worked around the clock since Heck’s disappearance on Sunday morning. Ausmus said that his crew finished Monday night at 10 p.m. and started again at 8 a.m. Many members of the community and different organizations have joined the search since its origination.

Heck is 5’1” tall; weighs around 170 pounds; has light blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue-green tee shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes.

I come in agreement with meshee and God be with the searchers. I am so thankful we live in a community that have people here who are willing to get out and search and has the means to do so.

May God keep them warm and energized thur their heroic efforts. Maybe local resturants will find it in their hearts to provide food and beverages for these searchers.

To newsman Steven, will you find out if searchers have any needs that we as a community can help with. Gas for their 4-wheelers, hand warmers, warmer clothing needs, etc. We have good souls here that want to help but does not know how to go about doing so.
