Greg Allen Partin, 35 of Middlesboro, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Born February 18, 1977, in Middlesboro, he was the son of Dollie Mae Hurst Partin and Willard Partin who both survive. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dave Hurst and Evonne Partin.
He is survived by the following members of his family: mother, Dollie Mae Hurst Partin; father and step-other, Willard and Sharon Partin; wife, Ruthie Partin; three children, Kimberly Partin, Cheyenne Partin and Nicolas Partin; grandfather, Oscar “Bud” Partin; grandmother, Lillie Hurst; brothers, Hank and Mindy Partin, Mark and Georgia Partin, Keith Partin, James and Carrie Partin, Pete and Brittany Hurst, David Combs and James and Sarah Combs; sisters, Patricia Partin (William Coker), Amie and Lonnie Hatfield, Jennifer Partin (Timothy Smith), Jessica Partin, Amanda and Chris Anderson; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, June 21, at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayland Mason and the Rev. Bernley Lambdin presiding. Music will be provided by Josh Saunders, Patty and Dollie Partin, Willard Partin, Shirley Lambdin and Barbara Jennings.
Interment will follow in the Greg Partin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carl Lambdin, Johnny Hurst, Paul Storm, James Partin, Mark Schwartz, Mark Sparks and James Michael Partin.
The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
