Chelsey Smith scored eight of her 27 points in after regulation was over as the Pineville Lady Mountain Lions got past Knox Central 64-61 in a triple overtime thriller Friday night.

Kayla Shelton scored six of her 22 points in the fourth quarter for the Lady Panthers and Bridget Young hit a big 3-pointer as Knox Central rallied to force the extra periods.

Brittany Smith scored four of her eight points in the overtime periods for the Lady Lions as they continue to be unbeaten against district opponents this season.

Victory Gilley added 13 points for Pineville and Chatman Taylor finished with 8 before fouling out.

Both teams have a trip to Bell County next on their schedule with Pineville (15-8, 5-0 district) taking on the Lady Cats Monday night at 7:30 and Knox Central (5-15, 3-1) going there next Saturday.
