ROSE HILL, Va. — Garry Lynn Britton, 42, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009.

A lifelong resident of Lee County, Va., he was preceded in death by his mother, Coraine Britton.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Delph Britton of Rose Hill; father, Robert L. Britton of Rose Hill; two sons, Thomas James Britton of Rose Hill, and Johnathan Kyle Britton of Rose Hill; step-children, Vicki Delph, Dawn Marsee, Pamela Minor, Charles Delph, Jennifer Delph, Charles (Bubby) Ayers, and Paige Ayers; two grandchildren, Destiny Britton, and Micah Britton; step-grandchildren, Carrie Beth Evans, Kayla Ray, Jeffrey Minor, Frankie Minor, David Delph, Kevin Delph, and Jackie Delph; five brothers, Wilfred Britton of Rose Hill, Pete Britton of Harrogate, Tenn., Frank Britton of Rose Hill Bobby Britton of Rose Hill, and Jack Britton of Rose Hill; four sisters, Phyllis Hensley of Rathbone, Mich., Gail Mabe of Rose Hill, Martha Barnes of Rose Hill, and Angilee Lawson of Rose Hill; and several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, at the Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Rose Hill Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 12, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating.

Burial will be in the Lee Family Cemetery at Rose Hill.
