Doretta Irene Sinkhorn Edds, 68, a lifelong resident of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Barbourville Nursing Home after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny B. and Madge Hubbard Sinkhorn; a sister, Virginia Lee Napier; and a brother, William A. Sinkhorn.

Survivors include her two sons, Bryon Keith Sinkhorn of Elizabethtown, and William Thomas Johnson of Barbourville; two grandchildren, Matthew and Zachary Johnson; three sisters, Louise Crockett of Pineville, Frances Williamson of Rineyville, and Brenda Killion of Corbin; two brothers, Elmer Ray Sinkhorn of Elizabethtown, and Johnny Sinkhorn Jr. of Pineville; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Ray Sinkhorn presiding.

Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Doretta Irene Sinkhorn Edds. Light a virtual candle or sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
