Woodford Caldwell, 77 of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Pineville Community Hospital.

He was born in Salt Trace on November 29, 1934. A member of the West Pineville Baptist Church , he had been a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vestina Brock Caldwell; son, Hobert Darrell Caldwell; brothers and sisters, Betty Wilson, Bessie Lorene Fultz and Walter Caldwell

Survivors include his sons, Ronnie Dale Caldwell and Donnie Wayne Caldwell; brothers and sisters, Susie Saylor, Viola Fultz, Juanita Burns, Martha Honeycutt, Edna Mae Gilliam and James L. Caldwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herstel Belcher presiding. Burial will be in Cooper Cemetery at Bledsoe, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
