Students gathered at Bell Central on Monday for an open house event. Students were able to meet with teachers and new and old classmates. School supplies and books were also given out during the event. Several different agencies were at the open house including Bell-Whitley, Pineville Community Hospital and Bell County Extension Agency.
Each year food is provided for parents and students during the open house. This year principal Greg Wilson (right) cooked the food for the occasion. According to assistant principal Jennifer Wilder, the open house event is held to allow students to get a fill for the school after a long summer break.
