Staff Report
Middlesboro ARH Hospital has announced that renovations to the facility have continued along the hallways extending from the Emergency Department to the front area of the hospital.
Due to extensive renovations in the main hospital lobby, this area will be closed temporarily, beginning Aug. 10 at noon and will re-open on Aug. 31.
Quick Draw will be closed and patient blood draws during this three-week period will be completed in the hospital laboratory.
Inpatient and outpatient service registration will be temporarily relocated to the following areas: Outpatient Surgery Lobby (Outpatient Surgery Entrance); MRI and Rehabilitation Services Lobby (MRI & Rehabilitation Entrance by the fountain); Radiology Lobby and Laboratory Lobby.
Signage will be posted throughout the renovated areas, and Middlesboro ARH staff will direct patients and visitors to open service areas.
“Our goal is to improve our facility for our patients and visitors,” said Michael Slusher, Community CEO at Middlesboro ARH. “We sincerely appreciate your patience during this phase of our renovation.”
The main hospital lobby will re-open on Aug. 31.
