Ray William Yoakum, age 72 of Speedwell, Tenn., born Nov. 8, 1939, passed away suddenly Sept.5 , 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred William and Mossie (Barnwell) Yoakum of Speedwell, Tenn.; and sister, Reba Yoakum Givens of Middlesboro.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ina D. Ausmus Yoakum; two daughters, Sandra Yoakum Coward (John) of Speedwell, Tenn., and Imogene Yoakum Woods (LA) of Sharpes Chapel, Tenn.; sister, Daisy Yoakum Miller of Kingston, Tenn., James (Beelie) Ausmus, Speedwell, Tenn., two grandsons, Jonathon Ray Coward of Speedwell, Tenn., and Randall Ray Combs (Linda) of Sharps Chapel, Tenn.; two great-granddaughters, Jass and Katie Combs of Sharps Chapel, Tenn., two brothers-in-law, Mallon and Nolan Ausmus; eight nieces and nephews, and a host of very special friends and relatives

Visitation will be at Reece Valley Chapel Saturday, Sept. 8, from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be Saturday at 8 p.m. following visitation. Rev. J.C. Monday will officiate the service.

Burial will be in the Yoakum Cemetery in Speedwell, Tenn., at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9.
