Jane Catherine Browning, 72 of Frakes, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at the home of her son in Lafollette, Tenn.

She was born May 27, 1940, at Chenoa, and was the daughter of the late Jeff and Florida Partin Frazier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Browning; and one sister, Inez Jackson.

She is survived by the following members of her family: daughter, Tammy Sparks of Middlesboro; son, Daryl (Sherry) Browning of Lafollette, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Heather Browning, Kayla Sparks and Katilydn Browning; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Fonde Church of God Mountain Assembly with the Rev. Lonnie Lyke and the Rev. Cecil Johnson presiding. Music will be provided by Adam Gulley, Linda Lyke and Lois Brewer.

Interment will follow in the John A. Partin Cemetery at Chenoa. Pallbearers will be Anthony Hurst, Mark Sparks, Jeff Baker, Randy Baker, Randy Baker Jr., and Quincy Browning.

The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the family home located at 1125 Lower Laurel Fork Road at Frakes.
