Eligah Brock, age 78 of Stoney Fork, passed away peacefully at the Oak Tree nursing home in Corbin, on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012.

He was born on Aug. 16, 1934, in Bell County, and was the son of the late Mitchel and Lula Cox Brock. He had been a steel worker.

Eligah was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Taylor, Rachel Oney and Lucy Caldwell; two brothers, John Brock and Henry Brock.

He is survived and fondly remembered by wife, Wanda Payne Brock; sons, Eli Brock (Jennifer), and Danny Ray Brock; step-brother, Randall Elliott and family; brothers, Jack Brock, Jim Brock and Homer Brock; sister, Sarah Najera; and grandchildren, Savannah Brock and Dale Brock.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday Sept. 8, at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Dunn presiding.

Burial will be in the Caldwell-Brock Cemetery at Stoney Fork.

The family will receive friends from noon to the funeral hour at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brooks-Durham Funeral Home, Pineville.
