Mary Maglene Collins, 66 of Middlesboro, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012.
She was born Dec. 20, 1946, at Pearl, and was a daughter of the late Rev. John Robert and Minnie Cobb. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and she believed in the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Brock Ann Collins; sister, Betty Lou Collins; and grandson, Jamie Brock.
Survivors include her ex-husband, George Collins of Middlesboro; son, George (Brenda) Collins Jr. of Barbourville; daughters, Katherine (Joey) Robertson of Speedwell, Tenn., and Mary Collins of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Melissa Robertson, Ray Brock and Jamie Brock; sisters, Lonnie Bell Overton of Middlesboro, Mary (Joe) Robinson of Lafayette, Ind., Sarah (Lanious) Mize of Harrogate, Tenn., and Lorraine North of Middlesboro; brothers, Rev. Wince (Brenda) Cobb of Knoxville, Tenn., and John L. (Becky) Cobb of Middlesboro; nieces, Susie Overton, Patsy Overton, Barb Collins, Ruth Bussell, Sarah Hatfield and Melissa Cobb; nephews, Tommy Overton, Jimmy Overton, Ernie Overton, Clarence Overton, Tim Robinson, John Cobb, Travis Cobb and Paul Collins; special doctors, Dr. Valencia and Dr. Hortillosa; special friends, Binghamtown Church members.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham, Garry Bingham and the Rev. Wince Cobb presiding. Music by will be Bill Durham and Mary Collins.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeff Arnold, Garry Bingham, Nelson Bingham, Jason Creech , Keith Berry, Joshua Arnold, Freddy Houston, Randy Houston and Boyd Bingham.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Creech Funeral Home.
