Medic Regional Blood Center will raffle off a pair of Foothills Fall Festival tickets to one lucky donor. The festival takes place in Maryville, Tenn., on Oct. 12-14 and one donor will win a pair of reserved seats for all three nights of concerts.

“Donors can give blood now through Oct. 10 for their chance to win. Donors will automatically be entered to win when they register to give blood,” states Christi Fightmaster, director of Public Relations for Medic.

Nestled at the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Maryville hosts three days of amazing world class concerts, juried arts and crafts, activities, shows and much more for the whole family. The complete line up of concert artists can be found at www.foothillsfallfestival.com.

Local residents can donate blood to Medic on Monday at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College’s (SKCTC) Middlesboro campus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 209. The Medic Bloodmobile unit will also be at SKCTC’s Pineville campus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donors can also visit one of Medic’s two donor centers in Knoxville: 1601 Ailor Avenue or 11000 Kingston Pike in Farragut, behind Pittsburgh Paints.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more (16 year-olds weighing 120 pounds or more can donate but must have parental consent) and all donors must have positive identification.
