Barry Dale Cowan, a son given by the Lord to Millard and Jean Cowan, was born at Henderson, on Oct. 17, 1951, and passed away early Wednesday morning following a decline in health and strength.
Barry married Kathy Lynn Zion in 1988 and together for 24 years the experiences the changing scenes of life in the companionship in which the Lord had entrusted them.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Byron Cowan.
Surviving along with his wife, Kathy, are three sons, Rob Cowan of Jacksonville, Fla., Barry Cowan Jr. of Middlesboro, and Mike Zion of Ewing, Va. He is also remembered and loved by his grandchild, Kaytlyn Zion; and his sister, Phyllis Cartwright of Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at Elydale Holiness Church.
