Twila Daniels, age 87 of Claxton, Mich., formerly of Calloway, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, in Pontiac, Mich.

She was the widow of the late Boyd Daniels. She was also preceded in death by one brother and three sisters; and one son-in-law.

She had retired from the Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital after 30 years of service.

She is survived by the following members of her family: children, Wanda (Stacy) Boatwright, Jerry (Linda) Daniels, Jo Ann (Cowboy) Martin, Barbara (the late David) Sapp, Kenneth (Marlene) Daniels and Pam “Thelma” (Fred) Pettingill; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Creech Funeral Home in Middlesboro with the Rev. Alonzo Miracle presiding.

Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Creech Funeral Home.
