Lee Taylor, age 85 of Middlesboro passed away Thursday Oct. 4, 2012, at the Tri-State Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Lee was born Sept. 8, 1927, at Flat Lick to Walter and Mary Taylor. He worked for Bunny Bread and Pet Dairy as a mechanic. After retiring from Pet Dairy, he worked as a mechanic at his home. His love of fishing was known by all. He was a member Haynes Flat Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, two half-brothers, two half-sisters, his oldest loving daughter, Sherry Taylor Adams Graham and son-in-law, Scott; son-in-law, Terry Allen; and his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing his daughter, Patti Allen-Davis (Mark); grandson, Virgil Lee Adams (Pam); granddaughter; Angela (Steve); four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Carson, and Kendra Smith and Gavin Adams.
Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Saturday at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with his grandson-in-law, Rev. Steve Smith officiating.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Sunday at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
