Modine Davis, age 75 of West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Speedwell, Tenn., passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born April 23, 1937, in Bell County, and was the daughter of the late Huey Huddleston and Audrey Evan Finkensted.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ray Davis; and one daughter, Jacqueline Davis.
She is survived by the following members of her family: one daughter, Kathelene (Dannie) Bullock of West Chester, Ohio; one son, Carl Edward Davis of Speedwell, Tenn.; grandchildren, Amy (Donald) Vail of Lexington, Jessaca Dunaway of Waynesville, Ohio, Aaron Bullock of West Chester, Ohio, and C.J. Davis of Speedwell, Tenn.; one brother, Charles Huddleston of Fonde; three sisters, Maxine Rouse of Alexandria, Shirley Bogles of Burlington and Carol Decker of Alexandria; a special cousin, Lorraine Russell; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Welch presiding.
Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Creech Funeral Home.
